Khandi Alexander (natural September 4, 1957) is an American dancer and film and television actress.

Natural inside New York City and educated at Queensborough Community College, she appeared on Broadway and choreographed Whitney Houston's international tours from 1989 to 1992. Since so, she has concentrated in film & TV, played a character Catherine Duke in NewsRadio, a NBC sit-com which ran from March 21, 1995 - July 13, 1999 for 97 episodes, and when a character Jackie Robbins in ER.

She presently portrays the character Alexx Wilderness, a coroner on the CBS serial drama CSI: Miami which first aired September 2002.
